On the Margins: Low pay or no pay

28th Annual Conference of the Radical Statistics Group London School of Economics, Houghton Street, London WC2A 2AA
Saturday February 24th 2001, 10am-5pm.

The theme is low pay, non-employment and transitions between these states, including consideration of such issues as - minimum wages, insecure employment, wage subsidies, unemployment traps and the interaction of taxes and benefits, Basic Income and the informal economy.

Provisionally, speakers include:

Holly Sutherland (Cambridge University, Microsimulation Unit) Invited

The conference will include the Radical Statistics AGM.

On Saturday evening there will be a group social and meal at The George, 213, The Strand (Oliver Goldsmith's and Sam Johnson's local). Food will include fish and a range of vegetarian options.
